Thank you so much slice 🙏❤️

For context please check out my old post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SliceBank/s/jLJ0xivKsT

I just want to thank slice, this was a pretty big amount and they understood my issue and reversed the Interest as they saw that the issue was from when the bill settled

No other bank would have cared and would have replied with generic decline emails, slice support actually feels like humans that care and listen, thank you so much to the amazing team at slice 🙏❤️❤️

What the he*l HDFC?

Applied for Marriot Bonvoy HDFC CC because of the recent 2.5L spend based offer and was happy when it got approved just to find out I got a limit of 1L??

I though to get premium HDFC co branded cards you need a minimum limit of 1.5L so no clue how they approved me with 1L,

How do I spend 2.5L in 2 months now? Can I pre-pay the bill?

Also now that my first HDFC card is Co branded I can’t get a core card but does HDFC offer limit increase on co branded cards?

Today’s hamleys event was my final straw, I am going to stop collecting hot wheels now…

Woke up sleep deprived at 7 am so I could make it to the mall, paid 340 for a cab to the mall and my goal was to reach 2 hours earlier so atleast I would have a chance to get a Supra chase but when I reached there was already a big crowd outside which isn’t a problem but how hamleys managed it was

They opened the doors at 8:15 am or so and then everyone ran inside and stood in line, from 8:15 am to 10 am they didn’t do 💩, just made everyone stand and suffer in line when they could have passed out the wrist bands and clear the line so we could atleast go and sit somewhere, for 3 hours they made us stand outside the store, no place to sit and my legs were giving out, when at 11 am I came to the front of the line they finally gave me my wrist band of number 100+ which is crazy as I arrived 2 hours earlier before the gate even opened, I hoped for a sub 50 number

But even after giving the wrist band they made us stand in a queue in the store for an additional 30 mins, when I got in, as expected everything good was gone, even after coming 2 hours earlier before gates opened I couldn’t even manage to get a single ISO

The first 5 people took all the supras and the rest took the Enzo Ferraris, I took 2 cars and when I went to biking I saw they were damaged, they refused to replace it and as I paid they didn’t even let me return it

So after spending a lot of money to get there and then standing in line for 3.3 hours it was all useless, just very mad and now I am just thinking to quit this hobby for peace of mind.

Amazon Scammed me for ₹1,10,000 - Dont make the same mistake as me

I want to share my experience with Amazon because I'm currently stuck with a ₹1,10,000 issue, and I don't want anyone else making the same mistake.

On 19 August, I purchased two Amazon virtual gift card orders using my Amazon Pay ICICI credit card:

  • Order 1: 10 × ₹10,000 = ₹1,00,000
  • Order 2: 3 × ₹10,000 = ₹30,000
  • Total: ₹1,30,000

I didn't buy these gift cards randomly. I was planning to use them to purchase gold from Bhima Jewellers, which was running an extremely good offer where 22K gold was being sold at ₹11,111. The market price was significantly higher, so this was a genuinely valuable opportunity.

I specifically selected “Sharable Link” as the delivery method instead of email.

After placing the orders, nothing happened for around 30 minutes. Eventually, Amazon generated only one ₹10,000 gift card from each order. I received and personally redeemed both of those cards.

I waited for the remaining cards to generate, but they never did.

The remaining 11 gift cards, worth ₹1,10,000, were never generated or made available to me.

This is the important part: I never received those 11 gift cards, their numbers, or their links. With the Sharable Link option, the gift cards are supposed to appear on the Amazon order page so you can access and share the links. They simply never appeared.

I contacted Amazon customer support multiple times. The first response was to go to my orders and click “Resend to email.” The problem is that this option does not exist for my orders because I selected Sharable Link at checkout. I explained this and provided screenshots.

I even contacted Pine Labs through Amazon's seller chat, and they told me that Amazon Customer Service is the party that needs to resolve this.

Eventually, Amazon escalated the issue. And this is where things became ridiculous.

Amazon started looking at the gift cards that show as “Exhausted” and told me to contact cybercrime.

But the two exhausted cards are the two cards I personally received and redeemed. I have never disputed those two cards.

My actual problem is the other 11 cards worth ₹1,10,000, which were never generated or made available to me in the first place.

I've repeatedly asked Amazon to check their backend and tell me what happened to those 11 cards — whether they were never generated, generated but not delivered, or something else. Instead, I've mostly received scripted responses, and eventually I was told there was “no solution” and to contact Cyber crime.

What makes this even more frustrating is that if all 13 gift cards had been generated as they were supposed to be, I would have been able to complete my gold purchase during the Bhima offer. Based on the price difference, I would have made ₹20,000+ in profit from the opportunity.

Instead, I was left with ₹1,10,000 worth of gift cards at a horrible 2% cashback rate which i cannot access, while the offer I was trying to take advantage of has passed.

Now the only option i can think of is a chargeback from ICICI, would this work?

(I used ChatGPT to draft this post)
