Undertaker knight by me

Undertaker knight by me

In my world building, necromancy is a very dangerous practice, as it is basically breaching a hole between two plane of existence, trying to fish for a soul in the abyss of afterlife , which is a void full of unnamed eldritch entities with no form.

The natural of the dark abyss is that it amplifies and twists any input of any kind, emotion, intention, basic instinct. The action of said breech would cause some information of the living world to leak into the abyss, as if shining light into a dark sea, it attracts unwanted attention from things that runs on animistic instinct.

when infect with information leaked from the world of living that was twisted and amplified by the abyss , they began to take from and shape, and would crawl their way up to the breech, and if they enter reality, a devastation would sure come after.

Usually , in ideal circumstances the ritual could be stopped and the breech sealed. But if shit hits the fan and the creature had already honed onto the source and about to breech into the living world. an undertaker knight will be sent in to deal with such issue.

A knight paladin volunteer him/herself to be possessed by a saint with a ritual and becomes a vassal of their powers, but such powers are like overcharging a battery it will burn down the human soul and body. The undertaker knight will banish the creature and seal the hole , hopefully before they turn into ash.

Gaijin finally fixed the M60A1 after 8 years, surely not for selling more M60 RISE predator pack right?

With the release of the new m60a1 rise pack, gaijin suddenly remembered that m60a1’s gun mantlet is missing a large chunk of steel behind the outer layer, and added it as trunnion

It is now fairly reliable to eating early APDS shots like American munching their bacon.

Hmmm, I wonder what took them so long.

Death of a dream and end of an era.

All stories end.

This is where idealists are disillusioned, where a dream is burnt down, where heroes die, where an oath is forsaken, where an era ends.

Yes…all stories end, but this one ends with blood, with iron, and with one last fight.

I killed Sir Godfrey of La’moneir, hero of the vermillion gate.

I killed Sir Tentos of Gallante, one of the first to scale the Scarlet Rock.

I killed Sir Patrost of Tenfors, the Giant slayer.

I killed Sir Turan the kind, bane of the Morlin-Khan hordes.

I killed Captain Torfosk-Karan, the black bear.

I saw Tribune Aurelian fell as he took a blown from a poleaxe from the back, being swarmed by a dozen Maxonni Knight and Man at arms.

I killed Hendrick of Belianos, knight of swans. My blade snapped on his bevor as the armour breaker runes run dry on mana, so I drove the shattered tip under his sallet, I can feel the bones of his face cracked as i forced my weight on the blade.

And came Sir Al’touran, hero of the Red field. He caught me on the visor with his great axe. It sheer through the thin plating as my footing was a moment too slow.

I returned a blow with my mace that sent his body spinning to his side. Before he could regain his footing I gave him another strike, and another to the back of his helm, and another as my mace bends steels and break bones.

He laid died. Blood and brains pooled out of his helm it took me some effort to extract the mace head that was embedded deep.

And I continued to kill.

I killed many more, all of them, all heroes, all righteous in their mind, once they all fought for the sake of a free Servannia, and they still believe so when as my mace and blade shattered their armor and severed their flesh.

I was once fought alongside them with great honor and pride. All they served now is greed and ignorance.

So I continued to kill.

This is the last stand of Augustus, last Legatus of the Schola Praetoria.

The Schola is the last semblance of the Old Servannia, the last connection between the current Confederation and the Old Empire that all Servannians were once united. A sect of idealist who cling on to a unified Servannian race after the fall of the old empire shattered the land. They retained knowledge of old times and protected it for centuries, trained themselves in all arts including combat, and cooperating with existing regimes as long as the goal aligns with the benefits of the land.

All for a prophecy, where one day “A true king will return, with a hair of silver and eyes of gold, with a blade of fire that will cleanse the land of greed and illness, reuniting the people and make Servannia whole once more.”

The Confederation was the regime that finally reassemble some sort of semi unified government that held the many small kingdoms and city states that survived the era of consistent warring state post imperial collapse.

It was established three centuries ago due to the threat of the Koprun Jihad marching from the south , forcing the long running civil war to a halt and everyone decided it was best interest to beat the foreign invaders up before resuming killing each other in a thousand year long happy civil war.

The alliance, though shaky time to time, endured as the continent became more politically unstable. The Giants of the north wish to reclaim old territories, Witch-king of East plan to march east, mid-land elves and black-mountain dwarfs lust for the mana-lane that pulse under Servannia.

However, as time passes, the fracture within this oath bounded alliance grew larger, the eastern states Holian identity pushes themselves away from the Amborn population that dominated the rest of Servannia.

The political battle between unionist and separatist within the confederation grew larger and larger as one saw it as the only way for Servannia to progress and the other see reunification was a shackled to their freedom.

Then there was the economic division where Southern burgher capitalism is outcompeting northern manor economy, slowly destroying it.

Finally, everything spiralled downhill as the confederation, under influential of Firrebotae, a major southern state member, join the war in Kirith-Yarin, a client state of Koprun Empire seeking independence, in order to secure confederal southern boarders. The battles against the Imperials was hard but victorious, however, the Northerners see this as an escalation of southern power usurpation and dragging the confederation into decisions where the north never agreed.

So, it snapped. Under disguise of “troop relocation and supply transfer”, the North, under leadership of Maxony, the major northern state, initiated a Coup, even do so far as ally with former enemies with the giants to destroy the “shackle” — the central confederal diet, and impose their own rule over Servannian, while majority of Southern and Central states’ troops still remained in Kirith-Yarin.

And the art above was the depiction of the final moment where the Schola Praetoria, disguised as Central Councillor guards to better blend in with the current society while cooperating with the central Servannian states (Allandae), fought in the underground great dungeon that contained a secret gate leading out of the city, as well as the library of the Old Servannian Empire.

In which a few of council members from different state, most importantly the spouse of Duke Firrebotae, Lady Jeanne , and an infant still in her arms, were attempting to escape through.

According to dataminers: M829A3 anti-ERA is merely an illusion , K5 was nerfed, while Relikt was buffed

Disclaimer: I have no idea how this works , I just transport the information from Chinese teiba forum.

According to Chinese dataminers, Kontact-5’s long rod KE resisted was reduced from 0.8 to 0.5 APPLICABLE TO EVERY MODERN APFSDS , hence why M829A3 feels like it has “ERA defeating capability” while having minimal stat upgrades from A2.

IT IS NOT BECAUSE A3 IS SPECIAL.

K5 got nerfed across the board , which means DM53 can also slap clean through T80Us UFP.

ALL GOOD NEWS RIGHT EXCEPT FOR T80U players right?

NOPE.

Relikt 1 GOT BUFFED instead , with long rod resistance modifier from 1.7 to 2.25

Gaijin: to cure cancer, instead of chemotherapy, we will now cut off your legs.

such logic , much wow, when Relikt equip tanks is destroying the environment, the K5 will be nerf so US main can’t complain and can stfu about Russian bias because “they nerfed something (secretly)”, and repackage it so it was all about “a gift to our US top tier players, your long awaited M829A3 Russian bias destroyer, look look, you can kill a T80U front on, reliably now!”

AND GUESS WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS.

Surely not the most survivable and annoying Relikt equipped BMPT.

But good news, they nerfed 2A42’s dispersion by two folds. (BMP-2: WTF man?)

Surely it will balance it out right? RIGHT?????

Belgium has 1 f-ing unique leopard that existed and they had to give us copy-paste slop

https://forum.warthunder.com/t/leopard-1a5-cockerill-3105-upgrade/22904

IT IS RIGHT THERE, IT WAS EVEN PASSED TO DEVS

holy shit how lazy are you gaijin

You have one chance to both give France a much deserved 9.3 stabbed MBT to compensate the lacklustre situation (THAT YOU MANUALLY CREATED BY MOVING THE AMX-32 120 UP for god knows what reason) , something easy-ish to make with some effort input, while being unique so people would complain a bit less from both the German and French (tech tree) player base

Give it some DM33 or DM63, slap it at 9.3 and French mains will be cheering you all over the place but noooooo

Must copy and paste slop

A suitable BR for a long awaited SPAA

Expecting it to be 8.0 minimum.

But hey, 7.7 works.

I assume it doesn’t have stabiliser or APHE considering the current placeholder BR?

Is it normal for not wanting to proceed a plot despite knowing this is the most reasonable outcome because the fear of "ending"?

I've started to work on lore-related art again and began to push the plot forward to the changing point, where it marks the end of an era.

A strange feeling emerged in my heart that I do not wish for it to go forward, as if it were the fear of waking from a dream. As this timeline is at the moment, it is where I invested most of my effort, where on the surface everything is going well, all the heroic stories, interesting characters, society changes.

But below the surface, all the factors converge into a "bad" end, where many characters I created were killed off, oaths are broken, and dreams are shattered, where history ends at this single moment, and when the last idealist dies, it marks the end of an era, to move onto a not-so-pretty, not-so-colourful age, where suffering and carnage rise.

This is the most reasonable, realistic outcome I have set in mind. I haven't flushed out the details yet, so I put it aside. Now that I have begun to move on and finally face it again, I actually feel reluctant to finish it.

Have you guys ever had this feeling before? The feeling of not wanting to let go and move on when worldbuilding a timeline?
