I'm planning to splurge on my stroller but go more budget on the car seat (~$100) since we very rarely use cars. Currently considering strollers from cybex, nuna, buggaboo but their car seats are 2-3x than that.

Would like to hear if anyone has experience in using strollers & car seats from different brands and whether you'd recommend it or not. Or if you use an infant car seat that is not compatible with your stroller, would love to hear how it goes too.

I'm also looking for reliable resources to figure out cross-brand compatibility or 3rd party adapters that work well.
