I’m having a laparoscopic cholecystectomy tomorrow and I’m honestly a bit nervous. I wanted to hear from people who’ve already had the surgery, especially about the long-term effects afterward.
How was your recovery? Did your digestion change permanently? Are there foods you can’t tolerate anymore, or did things eventually go back to normal?
One thing I keep hearing is that your stomach/belly gets bigger after gallbladder removal. Is there any truth to that? Did anyone gain weight afterward or notice bloating? I’m overweight for my height at 152.4 cm, weighing 66-67kgs… so I’m already overthinking.
Would really appreciate hearing honest experiences, good or bad, and any advice you wish you’d known beforehand. Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for an MM book I read about a year ago, although I'm not sure when it was actually published.
From what I remember, the story follows two military men who are best friends. I think one of them becomes a doctor in the military, but I'm not completely certain about that detail. The other MMC has been in love with his friend for years, but the friend ends up marrying a woman and having children with her.
Later, after the wife passes away, the two men begin exploring a romantic relationship and end up raising the children together. I also remember a family vacation scene when they were older, which made me think the story spans many years.
I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but I'm hoping this sounds familiar to someone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to find a MM romance that I read the synopsis for earlier this year, but I've completely forgotten the title.
What I remember (although I could be mixing things up) is that one of the MMCs loses his memory, and the other MMC pretends that they're already together. I also vaguely remember that they may have been enemies or at least disliked each other before the amnesia, but I'm not 100% sure about that part.
I think the book was scheduled for release in 2026, so it should be out by now.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'd really appreciate any help identifying it. I'm also open to recommendations for similar MM romances with amnesia, enemies-to-lovers dynamics.
