ITV cut parts of the outburst due to the “C”-word being involved. My understanding is that to remain OFCOM family friendly compliant, they cut the outburst. However instead of cutting that part from the show, they could’ve aired it while censoring the slurs traditional style (black bar and beep). By censoring the isolated words, people would be able to infer whether or not it was “aggressive and intimidating”, but nobody can actually say due to them cutting the footage.

That’s one of my opinions, and my follow-on opinion is that in order to settle the issue in the public eye, they should edit the clip to censor each word and publish it to either ITV social media accounts, or ITVX as a bonus clip. That way David and Jimmy also would no longer be able to twist the story into it being worse than it was, and everyone can just leave it alone.
