Stockholm/sweden

Where can I ride adventure/off-road around Stockholm?
Hey everyone!
I recently got an adventure bike and I’m looking for some good places to ride around Stockholm. I’m mainly looking for gravel roads, forest roads and beginner-friendly off-road/adventure routes where motorcycles are actually allowed.
I’m fairly new to off-road riding, so I’m not looking for hardcore enduro trails yet — more like nice gravel and forest routes where I can practice and explore.
I don’t mind riding 1–2 hours outside Stockholm if there are better areas further out.
Any recommendations for specific areas, routes, GPX tracks or groups that organize adventure rides around Stockholm would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks! 🏍️

Dropped my helmet!🤬🤬

Dropped my helmet from around 2 meters onto concrete, so unfortunately it’s time for a new one.
My budget is around €400–500 and I’m currently deciding between the Airoh Commander 2 and HJC RPHA 60.
I ride an adventure bike and do mostly road/touring riding with some gravel/off-road.
I really like the Commander 2 because of how light it is, but I’ve heard quite a few people complain that it’s extremely noisy at highway speeds.
The RPHA 60 also looks really good, but I’ve heard that it’s on the heavier side, so I’m a bit torn between the two.
For those who have actually ridden with either of them:
How bad is the wind noise on the Commander 2?
Does the RPHA 60 feel heavy after a few hours?
How are they in terms of ventilation, comfort and buffeting at highway speeds?
Which one would you choose?
Also open to other adventure helmets around €400–500. NEXX X.WED3, Scorpion ADF-9000 Air or anything else I should look at?
Would really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used them.

New to adventure riding – what gear do I actually need? ⭐

Hi everyone!
I just got my first adventure bike (BMW F 900 GS). I already have motorcycle gear, but it’s more road-oriented: cargo riding pants, a textile jacket, long gauntlet gloves, and a Shark helmet.
What adventure gear is actually worth buying? What are the must-haves, and what can wait? I’ll mainly be riding on the road, with some light gravel in the future. Any tips are appreciated!

Wow, I didn’t expect this many replies. Thanks everyone for all the advice and recommendations! I’ve read every comment, and you’ve given me a much better idea of what gear I should be looking at. I really appreciate all the help!

Hi everyone!

I’ve just bought my tracer 7 and having trouble finding exhaust that works. Any recommendations? I’m new to the motorcykel world and would appreciate any help.

I’ve been told that the euro 5 bikes get an engine light after changing the exhaust etc. And need to buy something can’t really remember the name thank👍
