Hi guys, I’m a 26 y/o bricklayer looking to make a change. I’ve been debating a move to Australia for many years and was debating a career change with it. FIFO seems a good option as I’ll have no tie downs and the money is good but I don’t know if I will have any skills that are remotely useful for mining

And if I don’t, what sort of training and courses would be required?

Side note. Is fifo a good way to meet people or does it leave you lacking a social life?
