I recently bought an Audi (not s4 but shares the same engine) with an EA837 engine, I am aware that the injectors are very noisy on these engines but I also seem to have a clacking sort of noise at idle which goes away with revs. To me it doesn’t sound like a timing chain, is this just a characteristic of the engine? Thanks!
