crawling out of my art slump one day at a time

i use my cousin as a daily art journal, something to challenge me to be creative on a regular basis. i’ve been struggling and slacking the past few months to make stuff i like but for some reason (maybe the changing seasons, it’s finally getting cold up here) over the last week i’ve been getting back in the groove, so wanted to share!

need some help from my fellow pack rats!!

i travel a lot and of course i need to lug my excess of journal supplies with me wherever i go. i’ve survived up to now with a drawer pouch and a cute pencil carrying case and then just lugging my books separately but it’s starting to drive me crazy. i want to be able to put not just all my pens and tapes in one unit but also my books as well. it looks like the stappo is too small to hold a cousin and may not fit all my shenanigans anyhow- please, fellow pack rats, what do you use to store everything!!

how to send follow ups to appeal?

i submitted an appeal to get my 15 year old blog back two days ago and i followed up today (politely) directly to the email that sent the automated response, but i got an immediate kickback that said "We do not accept emails to this address. Please follow the link or instructions below for further assistance." they offered links but of course it was exclusively to pages containing various information, not another way to try to contact someone. It was just the support@tumblr.com email. Can i seriously not follow up in any capacity? do they actually monitor the inbox and this message was erroneous? i appreciate any insight here, this has honestly been pretty devastating because of a bunch of other life stuff happening to me at the same time and i really want to fight to get it back!

avec users show off your first page!

what it says on the tin, show me what you put down on day one! i’ve been very creatively drained the last couple months and haven’t had many good spreads, but a fresh journal is always a bit invigorating.

How to figure out cause of potential seizures in cat?

Hi- apologies for the length of this in advance! Our cat is around 14 years old. He was diagnosed diabetic about a year ago. We’ve been giving him 2 units of vetsulin twice a day and feeding him low carb wet food twice a day per vet guidelines. About a month ago he had some sort of event- he started yowling, drooling, and stumbling around. Only lasted for less than a minute. We gave him some honey in case he was hypoglycemic. We took him to our vet and they said his blood sugar was low (we didn’t give him his insulin just to be safe and he wouldn’t eat while at the vet, so not sure how accurate that would be), and the only thing they thought could be the cause was a potential heart issue, but we can’t afford the kind of in depth evaluation that would require. He had been totally fine since, until today, it happened again. Same thing, drooling and stumbling, but more twitching this time. So my question is, is there any way to better discern if this could be a result of his insulin versus a heart based event or just a symptom of aging? We will be taking him to the vet again but I am just looking for additional input, it’s been very scary to watch since he’s never had any other visible health issues.

How vital is a sway bar?

I recently got a 16 footer that I haul with a Toyota Tundra. I’ve only taken it out a few times so far, and one of those times had high gusting winds (I believe ~40mph) and all was fine, but I recently saw a bunch of videos of trailer rollovers and I’m a bit paranoid. Once summer hits I’m going to be doing a lot of driving from my home state of MI to various states out west. Is a sway bar a huge difference maker for a trailer my size?
