Hi everyone,

I was recently awarded the DAAD Master’s Scholarship (Master of All Disciplines) for 2026/27 and thought it might be nice to have a place where recipients can connect before moving to Germany.
I’ve created a Discord server where we can chat about housing, enrollment, insurance, DAAD paperwork, research, and just get to know each other.

I received the master of all disciplines scholarship, but I’m still in my bachelors degree. I‘ll finish it in time but due to bureaucracy, I will receive it a month after starting my masters. Do you think this is an issue? Since I already got the admission from the uni and they just need it much later.

So has somebody received is bachelors degree after starting their master for the DAAD?

Edit: I called them, so ideally you‘d need your degree even before October. But yeah a bit more stressful but doable haha
