An Abandoned Spectrum Customer
Split upgrade issues began in my home mid May. I have had two visits from Technicians. I've been to the Spectrum store multiple times. I've gotten new equipment. I've spent more time over the past 6 weeks on the phone with Spectrum attempting to get help than I have spent on the phone with all previous cable/internet providers in my life combined. My cell phones are affected. After being gaslit for weeks regarding cellular and internet issues having zero to do with each other, they were forced to admit they did when our whole area began having cell phone issues last week. I took screenshots for my own records. I am a small business owner and that is unacceptable. I am at the "end of the line" so my service is poor (that's being generous) 90% of the time. I have BEGGED and PLEADED for someone to please do something. What I've heard in return is...there's nothing we can do, this maintenance will be on-going until at least the end of July, your service hasn't been interrupted enough for us to even consider a possible credit and "if I were you I'd leave" from their own employees. Never in my life have I watched a company show more disregard for the terrible situation they've put a customer in. Disgusting behavior from a company and I plan to tell every single person I run into about it. Unless you'd enjoy watching pixelated/frozen TV (when it actually loads), not being able to access your company emails and your cell phone asking "what is 5G/what is data period" DO NOT GET SPECTRUM!
