All 4 WHW03 nodes stuck solid red after factory reset - followed official steps, no change
Hi all, hoping someone's hit this before.
Setup: Velop WHW03, 4-node mesh (1 parent + 3 child nodes), been running fine for a while.
What happened: While troubleshooting an unrelated roaming/SSID sync issue, I ended up factory resetting all 4 nodes (following Linksys's official reset steps — held reset until light went red, faded, then flashed bright red before releasing). After resetting, every single node is now stuck on a solid red light and won't progress to purple/blue.
What I've tried so far:
- Waited well over 10 minutes fully untouched on multiple nodes (including one full 10+ min uninterrupted wait on the parent node specifically)
- Clean power cycles (unplug, wait 10 sec, replug) on each node individually
- Confirmed all 4 nodes are on separate power outlets/circuits (ruled out a bad strip)
- Confirmed modem/internet is fine and Ethernet from parent node to modem is solid
- Nothing is blinking or pulsing — all 4 are steady solid red, not flashing
All 4 doing this simultaneously after resets makes me think it's not 4 coincidental hardware failures, but I'm out of ideas on what else to try. Linksys support is closed until Monday.
Anyone seen solid red (not blinking) persist like this after a proper factory reset on WHW03s? Is there a firmware recovery step I'm missing, or is this just a support ticket at this point?
Thanks in advance.
