Multi Link Operation MLO
I got like 6 nodes MBE7000 velop pro 7 around my home and was wondering what does MLO does ? Any benefit of this turning on ? What are the pros and cons using this beta feature ?

Hi,
I have an issue where I can't access the router via 192.168.1.1, it just loads a blank-ish page:
As far as I can figure out, it seems https://linksyssmartwifi.com is down? I can use the Linksys app to access my router, but it's missing some of the configuration settings I need to access.
Does anyone know what is up?
ENVIRONMENT
- Parent node: MX5300v1, firmware [1.1.12.210066]
- Child node 1: MX5300v1, firmware [1.1.12.210066]
- Child node 2: MX4200, firmware [1.0.13.216903]
- Backhaul: Wireless
- Upstream router: Xiaomi BE6500 Pro
- Connection: Ethernet, upstream router LAN port to Velop parent WAN port
PROBLEM
In Bridge Mode, IPv6 does not work on child nodes. The client shows a correct IPv6 address and gateway, but cannot access any IPv6 website. IPv4 works fine.
HOW TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up the Velop system in Bridge Mode.
2. Connect a client (iOS or macOS) to a child node's Wi-Fi.
3. Disconnect Wi-Fi and reconnect.
4. The client shows a valid IPv6 address and correct gateway, but IPv6 internet access does not work (web pages fail to load).
5. IPv4 works normally at the same time.
6. Run "ping6 <upstream gateway link-local address>" from the client. The ping succeeds.
7. Immediately after the ping6, IPv6 internet access is restored.
8. Disconnect and reconnect Wi-Fi — the problem returns. Repeat step 6 to fix it again.
This cycle is 100% reproducible.
ADDITIONAL OBSERVATIONS
- Parent node is not affected. Clients connected to the parent node's Wi-Fi have no IPv6 issues in any mode.
- The problem only occurs in Bridge Mode. When the Velop is set to NAT mode with IPv6 set to "Passthrough," IPv6 works correctly on all nodes, including child nodes.
- Bridge Mode does not offer a "Passthrough" option for IPv6 — it is locked to "Auto." This means there is no workaround within Bridge Mode.
COMPARISON
- Bridge Mode, IPv6 Auto (forced, no other option) --> IPv6 on child nodes: NOT WORKING
- NAT (DHCP) Mode, IPv6 Passthrough --> IPv6 on child nodes: Working
CURRENT WORKAROUND
Using NAT mode with IPv6 Passthrough. This resolves the IPv6 issue but introduces double NAT for IPv4 and puts clients on a separate subnet.
REQUEST
Could the engineering team investigate IPv6 handling in Bridge Mode on child nodes? The fact that the same hardware works correctly in NAT + Passthrough mode suggests this is a firmware issue, not a hardware limitation.
Alternatively, adding an IPv6 "Passthrough" option to Bridge Mode would give users an immediate workaround.
Getting this error, while adding 6 APs Model LAPAC1200C v1 to my cloudmanager.linksys.com. Although i have removed all these APs from my old business.linksys.com account yet i am still getting
"This device is already taken by another account"
i have 6 AP devices of Model LAPAC1200C v1
Please release these from any other cloudmanager account it might be bind to, so i can add to my official cloud linksys account else this can have negative impact on my job as my Senior would rate me low for recommending Linksys product in my company.
I can provide all 6 serial numbers ans MAC ADDRESS
I have already emailed via @m**l.in to official support and also shared all 6 APs MAC & Serial number details to
u/BeingGeorge, pls help me out I have sent you all the details 🙏🏽
I have multiple devices connected to the the Linksys. Most of them show up as they are suppose to but lately the one is showing up with some weird lettering where the name of the device is suppose to show up since I have named my computers, my iPhone and my iPad with the name of birds. The iPhone that keeps showing up when with weird lettering is a iPhone 12. It doesn't have cellular on it just WiFi and I just use it for a expensive iPod. I don't use the Hotspot between iPhones either.
Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about: The device in on the top in center row. The name that is suppose to be showing is Hawk. Anyone know whats going on?
I bought the Velop Pro 7. Everything works fine except for my IPTV, which does not connect to the network.
I saw an article on your website saying that I need to enable a setting in the advanced router settings. However, I cannot find this setting anywhere. I’m starting to think that the Velop Pro 7 may not even be supported for IPTV.
What can I do to get my IPTV connected to the network?
