Gotta say I’m super pleased with the 5100s. Install was incredibly easy. Had 285/70/17 wildpeaks installed afterwards. Definite improvement over the stock shocks. If you’re on the fence, definitely go for it. I’m set at 1.75 front with .75 cornfed spacer. Might upgrade to a 1” spring in the back eventually but I like the stance I achieved. We’ll see how it does when I get a chance to get it off the pavement.
I know an amp is required to get the benefit of aftermarket speakers but will I notice anything at all if I do the 6x9s in the door and swap the dash speakers with something better? I don’t care to add an amp down the line but if I can avoid it for a while I don’t know if I’d even notice a difference.
Looking at ceramic coating my wife’s new van, and possibly my vehicles as well if it goes smoothly. It’s a brand new 2026 with 20 miles on it and it’s green. I’m completely new to ceramics so I don’t know if color matters but looking for product suggestions. I want to maintain this thing as long as I can. It’ll be living inside and only driven a few times a week but the longer lasting the better.
Also after doing ceramic, do I need to be doing any other products periodically outside of basic washing?
Was given a pair of the rigid fog lights for my 5th gen 4runner.
I had already done some yellow auxbeam lights but these are obviously an upgrade. Only issue is they're clear. Can the lenses be replaced on these with yellow? I found some online but wasn't sure if they're the right thing so I wanted to check with other people.
I know they sell the laminx cover but didn't think it would be ideal for the aftermarket lights.
Going to just use the auxbeams as ditch lights later on.
