I want that standard!

I absolutely LOVE how commander’s standard looks. It’s long, it uses poke moveset and has cool buff instead of some fighting move (which is bad for some people, but I find it quite enjoyable). Can I make non-boring run with that thing? Like not just level str and poke, I’m talking about pairing it with some other amaments/shields/magic? Maybe you had some funny runs with this thing being your weapon and not just casting stick?

Spear of the Church… maybe?

Is it possible to make some kind of playable Spear of the Church from Dark Souls 3 cosplay build? Combining moonveil and cleanrot spear sounds like hell, but maybe it’s possible?

Why does everyone hate Spear of the church?

Yes, I get it, it’s not a spectacular boss with a unique moveset and all, but does that take away from how well balanced it is? It's pretty easy in offline, yes (since when being easy = being bad btw?), but in online it was always surprisingly fair fights (even when there was a phantom with host). SotC doesn’t have estus but has a teammate who provides healing, while host can have 15 estus flasks and summon phantoms before fight. Still funniest PvP experience I had in ds3

My ego says I can reach there by jumping

Cathedral of the Deep way, on platform where 3 hollows shoot at you with crossbows and one standing with spear and shield

Lord of… eh, just flame?

I'm thinking about a build that can utilize different types of fire with their specific mechanics (don't ask about lore or roleplaying, I haven't come up with ones). Can you recommend a build I should use? Fth for incantations, or maybe some int for ghostflame too? Maybe I should choose a special spell pool for different types of fire (Dragonflame, black flame, frenzy one, Giant’s one, etc.)?

I wanted to do something like Monkey king or Aang build, but find it hard to find a proper armament. So we have basic twinblade from the start of the game that has good staff-like moveset but is pretty mid and gets outclassed by nearly any other twinblade in the game. The only other option can be some spear, but they all look pretty “spear-like” and have limited moveset

Alr so we have Cipher pata and Coded sword that are pure fth, but they deal holy damage (that’s not good for main game) and pata has mid weapon skill. But are there any other weapons that get huge benefit from your high fth and don’t need big stat investments (not Blasphemous blade pls, I want to have ability to die in this game)

I'm planning on making a near-pure caster, but using FTH rather than INT. INT builds are famous for their huge dps and ability to stack lots of magic damage buffs as sorceries usually deal only magic damage. But I'd like to create a flexible build suitable for both PvP and PvE with FTH instead, as it has huge variety of elemental damage, buffs, heal and regen incantations and lots of utility spells. I don't really want to be tied to a specific family of spells, but rather use different elements, since incants from different groups typically have different speed (both cast and projectile) and aoes, which can be very useful in pvp and even in pve sometimes

Mana usually gets more attention in RPGs. It's drained by certain enemies' attacks, consumed by a ton of different tools, and generally often determines how much fun you'll get while playing the game. But in Elden Ring, fp is more of an accessory for casters and a minor headache for casual players who enjoy using buffs and AoWs.

So is it possible to create a build that can utilize massive fp pool to its full potential, making the entire gameplay focused on it (i.e. healing only through Incantations and a huge selection of expensive casts)?

I know this will be far from optimal, but it maybe can still be fun, right?

I want to make some kind of pure caster build (int/fth and <20 arc with no str and dex investments), but is it achievable at <=150 lvl? I suppose I should choose astrologer as a starting class for it’s little str and dex and level up int and fth to 60-like levels, but still need help
