Scotch double-sided tape vs. museum putty to secure 100% bricks in acrylic cases?

Scotch double-sided tape vs. museum putty to secure 100% bricks in acrylic cases?

I wanted to get some opinions on the safest way to keep my 100%s from moving around inside acrylic cases.

I’m currently using Scotch double-sided tape to secure them, ppl has been discouraging it and honestly, I feel like the tape holds them more safely & securely than museum putty would.

Candy drop from Taiwan 🇹🇼🍬

I picked these up myself while on vacation in Taiwan because I’d never seen them before and was curious to try them. Honestly, they’re surprisingly pretty good

[LC] Is this Be@rbrick authentic?

Legit Check Please
Purchased from store next door to Mandarake in Nakano, Tokyo The BE@RBRICK was listed as unopened/sealed, but after opening it noticed several signs of wear that have me concerned about its authenticity.
There is a small nick/chip in the paint on the nose, a little crack on the foot, and the arm doesn't click as loudly as my other BE@RBRICKs. I also noticed some grease on the 100%, and when ! gently used my fingernail to remove it, a small amount of paint came off with it. Plastic is different from my other bearbricks as well....
I'm not sure whether these are normal manufacturing/handling issues or potential signs that the BE@RBRICK is not authentic. I'd really appreciate any opinions from people who have experience authenticating these.
I'll include photos of the areas mentioned as well as the packaging and any markings that might help.

Reposting because the lighting in the last post made the skull look way more tanned than it actually is. 😅 This one shows the color much more accurately!
