Audition piece reccomendations for nervous soprano

Hi there, in a few weeks I (19F) have an audition with a pretty prestigious UK cathedral choir who have asked me to prepare a piece for the audition. Now, I have sang in small local choirs, and I am quite good (if I may be a bit of a peacock for a second) but never formally in a cathedral of this size or fame. I am TERRIEIFED.

I am a soprano, looking for a classical piece which is not overly complicated/ too operatic but also can showcase some variety and dynamics. Yet something that will be easy enough for a singer who has NEVER EVER had singing lessons (and knows next to nothing about music theory!)

Do low-level universities teach courses in as much detail as Russel groups?

Hi! I am struggling super hard with anxiety around my decisions for university because I rejected offers from Russel group unis to attend the uni ranking 114th (of 130)

I rejected my offers from 2 current top-10's ( thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk ), and while this may seem completely mad, I absolutely hated the atmosphere of them when attending their open days. I took a gap year and have grades A*, A, C (136 UCAS points) which would have allowed me to attend these prestigious universities but the entry requirements for the course I have chosen is only 96 UCAS points.

I really fell in love with the uni I have accepted my place for, the campus is beautiful, the people are so friendly and the city is wonderful; it ticks all the boxes for me. But it's feeling like a mistake. The courses at the RG's were sooo much more detailed and ambitious, and I feel like perhaps I will be going somewhere that is not challenging me enough.

Will I be limited in my studies if academic staff won't go into intense detail in the course? And how likely will it be for me to graduate with a 2nd or 1st class degree from a place like this?

Have I made a huge mistake?

Edit: since some of you are asking, I am going to be studying English Language and Teaching at Lincoln Bishop University. They have won a lot of 1st place WhatUni awards for teaching quality, accommodation and are top for student satisfaction. Also I feel it necessary to note that during this gap year, I have been supply teaching while reading immensely into my subject (research papers etc) and am VERY self-motivated so want to succeed, also planning on doing a masters at a more prestigious uni if I do well with my undergrad! Thanks for all lovely comments!!! <3

I am trying to get reasonably priced but still good view tickets for Sat 9th May, has anybody booked with Virgin experiences before with this deal (pic below)? Can I guarantee the seats will be good for that price? Will I be able to select them myself? If you have sued this before please let me know where your seats were located and if you had to pay any additional fees for better seats!

I'm hoping to get some last min deals on the 9th May as it is my birthday and the only way I can really afford tickets to les mis is when they're discounted on Official London Theatre.com. Checking for the last few Saturdays, there haven't been any deals, only full priced seats. I REALLY want to go, does anybody have any solutions for this problem? Any alternative websites, or should i try at the in-person box office on London?

Thanks!
