Hello. I’m pretty sure these are Taiwanese, but I haven’t been able to find them in the east bay. There’s a place in the city called House of Pancakes on Taraval that serve these absolutely delicious bits of joy. Do you know of any places in Oakland or surrounding areas that have them? A lot of places have the beef rolls and while the filling is the same, it doesn’t hit the same. I appreciate any and all recommendations! Thanks!

Recipe by @itsholly on IG. I subscribed to her Patreon for it so can’t really share. If you don’t know what turon is, it’s a Filipino dessert with saba (type of banana) and jackfruit. So this is a milk bread bun with a jackfruit caramel and saba filling. Ugh, too good.
