Alleged creep and former VShojo CMO MowtenDoo was at Anime Expo this weekend
Other pics on his Twitter account verify he was in attendance.
Shortly after VShojo collapsed Vei quote-tweeted GunRun's shutdown announcement and claimed that MTD had been banned from DMing the talents. Nyanners replied with her own story, and later on Tobs claimed MTD tried to get her to coke. MTD has publicly claimed that he was not in the loop on VShojo's financial situation, but he was the company's Chief Marketing Officer, a position directly responsible for coordinating some of the larger expenditures the company made (including the Tokyo sub ads). He has not been legally cleared of his involvement AFAIK.

An attempted callout in r/VtuberDrama gets called out itself
The VtuberDrama subreddit is a wild frontier for unverified claims about nearly anything vtuber-related. The sub is barely moderated, has an issue with repost bots, and a lot of threads in it are just OP beefing with whatever content creator recently banned them. Every once in a while the sub turns up something credible, but this time is not one of those instances.
CottontailVA is a vtuber who specializes in NSFW content, being one of the top (pun intended) content creators on Fansly. She has a most SFW side on her Twitch and YT channels and is rather popular on both platforms. She regularly streams games, which is where this drama starts; a few years ago she streamed Valorant and got matched with a guy who had an open mic. Notice the "a few years ago" part? Well yesterday someone decided to post a clip from it in VtuberDrama calling out Cotton for sexual harassment.
From OP: >This video is taken from an old video of hers that was mysteriously taken down in late 2025 very shortly after being brought up and criticized in a different Reddit thread
It didn't go according to OP's plan; while there was a general agreement that her comments in the clip were cringe and poor taste, OP was being derided for dredging this up.
>Surely you have better use for your time other than just trying to bring up ages old shit that hasn't been a problem in a long while. Do better. Seriously. >> Bruh what are you talking about that's all this sub is lol >>> It's about vtuber drama, not manufacturing outrage. >>>>Thats a good point some things are not even latest drama its just outrage farming
and some of comments were more sympathetic to Cotton. > Glad she got help then, I know the meds aren't for everyone but shes clearly had a marked improvement since then.
Earlier today another thread called out that OP and linked to the full stream (the link seems to be dead, luckily someone in the original thread had a working link). OOP was not happy about the callouts from the original thread
>You have yet to post the timestamp. I told you directly that if you could provide a timestamp proving that it was genuinely okay with him I would take the post down and instead you post an inflammatory title, the exact same thing you accuse me of doing, trying to slander me and bunch me in with a bunch of white supremacists, trusting people to just take your word just because they like your narrative more? >>Didnt post a timestamp? Lil guy maybe read before commenting >>>That’s the timestamp I provided him. I’m asking for where the evidence that he [random Valorant player from the clip] wasn’t uncomfortable is. Im not just going to take his [callout OP] word for it unlike you. You didn’t even do any research at all did you?
So the White Supremacist thing didn't come out of nowhere; Fansly recently started sending out YT-style plaques to their top creators, and a known white supremacist attempted to slut-shame another NSFW creator that Cotton is friends with. Cotton trash-talked the right-wing Puritans and white supremacists on-stream, something relatively rare for her to do as politics on-stream is a minefield, and supporters of those creators have been angry at her since then. OOP does not appear to support such creators, and IMO is justified in being upset about those callouts specifically.
TLDR: OOP tried to start drama with a popular lewdtuber, got accused of being a fan of a white supremacist, then got called out for only posting part of the vod that supported their argument.
