Short Term Disability - Sedgwick & State of Minnesota
I was approved for leave in early June. I received my approval packet with next steps that needed to be taken, one step including having to apply to the state of Minnesota through the new paid leave program. I submitted my leave application through the state 3 weeks after my LOA due to needing to gather more information. I am still out on leave and have yet to be paid.
Apparently - Sedgwick will not calculate or pay me until the state approves or denies my claim. My claim is still pending with the state and has been for weeks. Ive reached out several times with no luck on a timeline.
I still have an approved few more weeks of leave but cannot afford to not be paid any longer - Im out several thousands of dollars (roughly 6000). Im going to have to either return immediately even though I am not well or quit and cash out my 401K.
Has anyone else ran into these issues?
