My first GSP and my soul dog, Rye, died of cancer in late 2024. I wasn’t ready to get a new dog for a while because I was just so broken. A few months ago I just…was ready. I started researching breeders within about 4 hours of me and found Desert Point outside of Yuma. They’re brilliant with dogs and have an incredible reputation in the southwest. After talking with them, I decided to go with them. I ended up meeting this sweet girl on my way back from a birthday trip a few weeks ago. She was instantly on me, and her mama nuzzled me, wagged her tail, and gave me her blessing.

So, last Friday, I brought this sweet girl home. We’re getting along amazingly, she sleeps through the night, and potty training is going well.

I’m so in love with this little girl.
