The difference in range between regions is real!

This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone familiar with EV’s - the range varies based on temperature, weight of driver’s foot, terrain, mood of the gods, etc.
This though, felt big. When I first bought this car from Eastern Canada in spring (read lots of snow, salt, -25C days), the range estimate at 100% was 220km. Now that the car is in sunny BC and has time to acclimate, I get 310-340km consistently.
The range feels mid, but manageable.

Purchased ‘certified’ used car from dealership in QC - I’m located in BC

Hello,
I made the mistake of purchasing a used car from a dealership in QC that was listed as certified and having passed a 200 point inspection. I also paid the dealership the cost of shipping the car to me in BC.

Upon arrival, I took it for a out of province inspection where we found out that the car had 4x warped brake rotors and torn bushings, so the car would not be safe to drive until these are all fixed.

Working with the dealership on a resolution has been an exercise in patience and tolerating incompetence and I’m looking for the best way to escalate this with some sort of regulatory or legal body.

I reached out to the OPC (Quebec’s consumer protection) who stated that since I was not in QC at the time of purchase, their protection wouldn’t apply.

Is my only other recourse small claims? Would this be covered under a federal jurisdiction by chance?

And yes, I know - I thought I did all my due diligence, but I clearly FAFO.

Third party brakes?

Hiya, I recently bought a ‘21 e-tron and was greeted with a nice surprise of all four brake rotors needing replacement for the car to even be road safe. (Lateral runoff is what my Audi shop noted on all four corners)

Does anyone have experience with aftermarket rotors as opposed to the 1000 CAD+ OEM options? Are there any brands that are good and more cost effective?

Does the recommendation to replace pads along with rotors still apply?

Thanks!

EDIT - Car has 100k km on the odometer, and I’m considering a second opinion.
