The Pokédex is just AI slop

Maybe not the most serious conspiracy.

When giving you the Pokédex in LGPE, Professor Oak specifically mentions the device automatically fills in data of any Pokémon you meet and catch. This implies that the theory the reason so many Pokédex entries seem like nonsense being because literal children are filling it out is false. The Pokédex itself is generating that data.

Terrible LLMs have been creating Pokédex entries since Oak created it, and it's been hallucinating information on a ton of Pokémon, potentially setting back Pokémon research years if researchers are taking it at face value. This ironically means Laventon's research with the Galaxy Team's survey corps is likely the most accurate and well researched Pokédex available, even though it predates the modern games by around 200 years and will therefore also make its own assumptions on things they don't fully understand.

SmartAccess Memory stuck in disabled after recent GPU driver issue?

I like many others experienced the issue this week where my 7900 XTX stopped being detected in Windows. Thanks to the lovely folks of this subreddit posting about the same issue, I was able to get it fixed by running DDU in safe mode to clear out all my drivers, and then reinstalling them offline using some drivers I had downloaded before attempting the fix.

At first things felt smoother, but I began to notice some instability in games, literally crashing every few minutes in the worst case scenario. I also kept on getting the pop up when I logged in from Windows detecting hardware changes and prompting me to restart my PC every time I booted. So I decided to spin up Adrenalin to check the issue. That's when I noticed AMD SmartAccess Memory is set to disabled.

Double checking my BIOS, I confirmed resizable bar is on and above 4G decoding is set to "automatic" (my options are automatic or disabled so I assume it switches itself on based on rebar). Checked my device manager for any errors/ghost devices from when I had the driver issue a few days ago and found none. Checked my driver version which is 26.6.1 (26.6.2 is available although I've opted to wait for the next release due to stability concerns).

I do have a BIOS update available, however it's only one stable version behind currently, and I've found this version to be extremely stable, so I really only want to update it as a last resort

Has anyone else experienced this?
