I'm feeling pretty damn bullish today. Got destroyed yesterday blowing my small account (from £275 -> £550 -> £0) so now I'm back for revenge!
Need the market to rally. I can't even go behind the bins at Wendy's. No one wants service with teeth like mine!
I got super lucky today. Been taking a few little wins trying to grow a small account. Realised today I'll need to pay capital gains tax if I'm going to trade CFDs so I switched to spread betting today. No CGT on spread bets in the UK because it falls under gambling.
I got brave and stupid, and got a little wake up call. I successfully got my account from £275 to £500 in 3 days, then today took a 30,050 0DTE PUT and a 30,000 0DTE put AFTER hitting my daily £100 profit goal. I took the 30,000 first then took a 30,050 after to try and offset some losses (another stupid move chasing losses) and the damn thing ripped for 2hrs right up to 30,250 (ish), putting my unrealised losses at £380 before crashing back down.
In hindsight if I held, I could've took a nice tidy profit on both but I'm just glad to get out with a relatively small £50 win, putting my total gains at over £200 for the day, although I do have a very small 30,300 call for £31 which is going to expire worthless, as well as a 30,000 PUT for £79 via CFD still open. The CFD PUT looks like it'll finish ITM though I may close it early.
Anyway, don't be me. Don't be a dickhead!
