Since I’ve been to KYRF a couple of times this year, I’ve collected some upgrades for my garb (including a sword!), made some changes to maximize color synergy, and dropped the cloak because of how hot it is outside currently…can’t wait to make my final appearance for 2026 next Saturday, the 11th of July…if you see me, please greet me!!
Did some reworking of last year’s garb…I wanted some brighter colors because the black pants were boring, so I got some new green winnegas and opted for red pants…I’m also proud to boast my cedar walking stick, which has been in my possession for a long time as a hiking/canping implement, but for some reason it never occured to me that it would be good for the faire…I also lost my big iron brooch that came with the cloak so I bought a new handmade one of brass from a nice lady in France, and it matches the brass ornamentation on my belt quite well…can’t wait to show off my improved garb at the KY Highland Renaissance Festival this year…if you are also attending and see me, do not be afraid to say hello!!!…I wanna meet some new people!!!
