Since I’ve been to KYRF a couple of times this year, I’ve collected some upgrades for my garb (including a sword!), made some changes to maximize color synergy, and dropped the cloak because of how hot it is outside currently…can’t wait to make my final appearance for 2026 next Saturday, the 11th of July…if you see me, please greet me!!
Been working on my viking garb for years now. My girlfriend hasn't experienced the Renaissance Faire as often but I'm helping her build up her garb. Any recommendations for either of us?

So this was me almost 3 years ago now at my first ren faire. This time I wanna have more detail and I want to make my own staff. I LOVE seeing others with their large mushroom or dandelion staffs! But I have never ever made one myself, I’ve never really made anything myself and this year I want to also make my own jewelry and staff 😆. Anyone here have any tips and tricks? I want to make a lotus one! Should I just find a stick on the ground? Is there a different material most people use and just paint it to look wooden? Any advice helps ❤️
Just got my full costume in for a faire I’m going to in July! I’m going for sleazy merchant that doesn’t sell anything particularly uh “extravagant” if you have any suggestions to add something or get rid of something please comment! First time dressing up for the Ren Faire! What am I missing? Should I nix the fringe on my bag?
I'm likely the only one dressing up in my family, so I didn't want to go too over the top, but I think maybe the cat's outta the bag on that front. Whatever! It was a blast to make and dress up is fun!
Second time wearing this kit! First time with this new Wolf Skull mask and Wolfpack shield! Hope ya like it! Great weather today, too, especially compared to yesterday!
