Really proud of my hail Caesar epic battle scale army. So far I’ve only painted a small amount but I’m so happy with the total look. Hopefully will make another post when I’ve doubled this size ;)
Been a busy few weeks! units are moving slower now, as I’ve decided I wasn’t painting enough per batch, therefore increasing from 3 bases to 6. Really enjoyed painting them however basing I find to be an absolute slog putting the texture paint down
So far these last two or so weeks I’ve painted up 6 bases of Numidian javelins, 6 bases of Numidian cavalry, 6 more bases of Libyan spearman and a war elephant!
I’ve got some really exciting plans and some stores who have said they will print some minis at 13.5mm scale for me, so I’ve got some Cretan archers on the way and expanded on some of the other countries and tribes found in the box! However I’ll keep the rest secret for now ;) hopefully next post will be all 27 bases of Libyan spearman complete!
Just a very quick one as I painted my first base of Carthaginian war elephants, was pretty proud of it so just wanted to share here as there was such a kind respond on my first post!
Recently purchased the Hannibal box and started some models, think about making a series of updates for my force as I go through them. Really enjoyed painting these so far and look forward to having a large army to show for it!
