Is there any way we could make out guns have more recoil / damage, to make our guns as realistic or arcadey as we want.

Would it not be cool if our h3vr2 dude could do asl
asl is a big part of many of Americans lives, it turns out I think asl should be in more media. having hands and all, it would be a interesting way for people to record themselves talking without a mic, or a way to get someone more familiar with how asl should be signed or some simple signs that they can practice and do at home.
