Would I be on the hook for an ordered part if I cancelled service for my car at a dealership?

I'm sorry in advance if this is the wrong place to ask this.

I have a Hyundai Kona and have had some rather unfortunate luck with it. I bought it about 3 years ago from a dealership nearby me. Over a month ago, I had a check engine light issue which turned out to be a timing chain issue. I had the dealership I bought it from work on it. Without going into hours of details, they had my car for 4 weeks and I had to constantly argue with the dealership because they were giving me zero answers and zero progress on the repairs. They were being very difficult with working together with my Hyundai CPO warranty and they ended up just not touching my car at all until 3 weeks in when I started calling the service manager.

That issue is now (finally) resolved, but now I failed my inspection (due at the end of this month) due to a bad CV axel. I took it back to this same dealership because it's the only Hyundai dealership nearby and I was worried I wouldn't have a ride home if I had to drop off my car there for more than a day. I'm now very much regretting my decision. After I took it back in and they did their diagnosis of the issue, the insisted that my Hyundai warranty would not cover it. Okay fair, so I called my third party warranty that I bought with the car and they explained to them everything that happened, and they assured me that they would be able to cover the repair. I went to the dealership and asked them to submit a claim with my third party warranty, since they told me they would cover it. They again fought me on it, insisting they would not cover it even though I told them they literally told me over the phone that they would and that my CV axel is listed on the parts they support through the warranty. They finally notice this and acquiesce, and put in the claim. They order the part, I sign paperwork about the diagnosis (they didn't have me pay anything). The plan was for them to order the part, hope that the warranty covers the service, and get it repaired even if my warranty denied me.

Fast forward to now, around a week ago the warranty company asked for documentation confirming my Hyundai warranty would not cover it. Dealership says they'll upload that, but they never have. I eventually get both the dealership and the warranty folks on the phone, and the dealership more or less admits to not uploading to what the warranty asked for and just responded something along the lines of "my supervisor said Hyundai wont approve it". Warranty tells them they need a document uploaded confirming that so that they can finalize the claim, dealership in a huff says theyll do that. Its been 4 days now and they still have not uploaded it. I'm beyond frustrated and at this point I recognize my mistake of going back to this dealership and just want to take it elsewhere.

If I cancel the service I have with the dealership right now, am I on the hook to pay for the axel they ordered? At this point, I have no idea if they even ordered it or not. I can't keep waiting on the dealership like this and can't wait another 4 weeks, I have until the end of the month to fix this to pass my inspection.
