NordVPN connection randomly dropping out, starts with outbound traffic only for ~2 minutes, then full tunnel drop.
For the last several days, no matter what NordVPN server I pick, I will eventually get disconnected from the server in a weird way. I will lose outbound traffic for 2-3 minutes first, still receiving anything, until the full tunnel dies.
I use OpenVPN, and have used it on several devices for more than 1.5 year without issue (UDP), and have reinstalled all the drivers/tunnels and ensured NordVPN app is also removed (though that never impacted it previously).
I have triple checked the configs, and even tried some tweaks of the configs.
Further, I cannot reconnect after I am dropped for several minutes typically.
At the same time I am dropped, I cannot connect on the same computer using the NordVPN app either (before I removed it to see if that did anything). Regardless of which NordVPN server I try (including one that another device is actively connected to... so I know its not the server).
My best guess at this point is that I am being partially blocked by some sort of connection/device limit, as maybe some of my devices are still seen as 'active' somehow hitting the 10 device limit and only after NordVPN server "realizes" some devices haven't had a connection for hours or whatever it drops them off its "active" list and then lets me connect. This does not explain why I randomly drop though. But considering my devices do not have the same WAN IP, I wonder if that is triggering something related, despite being well under 10 connections/devices.
Any insight or thoughts are great, I have spent hours trying to diag and tweak this issue over the last days.
