With Devon Witherspoon and Jaxon Smith-Njigba signing top of the market deals this offseason, do enough people realize Seattle just added to this small list of greatest 1st round hauls of all time?

2000 New York Jets: Shaun Ellis, John Abraham, Chad Pennington, Anthony Becht

2007 San Francisco: Patrick Willis and Joe Staley

Euro novelty 45’s

I’ve been buying records for over 30 years. When I first visited Europe two years ago I was excited to go record shopping. When I got there I was a little disappointed because I thought I was looking at a bunch of the same records I would see at home but they were more expensive. Eventually I found my groove and found that the most fun thing is finding a store with cheap old 45’s and a listening station with headphones and just listen to all the old records I had no idea about with awesome looking covers. Here is my modest haul. All these were 2-3 Euro.

White button tuners for SG Jr.

I bought a 2011 Epi SG Jr. a while ago that came with some aftermarket 3+3 Kluson chrome tuners. I want to put on white button ones. As I look for references online, I see some with 3-on-a-plate tuners and some with 3+3 tuners. Which one would be the preferred type for my guitar?

I would be doing this DIY so if nothing else the 3+3 would be guaranteed to fit and there is no guarantee the 3-on-a-plate would have the right dimensions, but if they did have the right dimensions, that would seemingly make it really easy to install it straight.

Defunct retail stores

I have like 30 or so original GI Joe figures from when I was a kid. I only have 4-5 original boxes. Something I really like about these two is they still have the old price tags. For anyone unfamiliar,

Zayre was like a slightly nicer K-Mart that was around until 1990. It got bought up by what is now TJ Maxx.

Lionel refers to Lionel Playworld. That was the only big box toy store when I was growing up until Toys R Us came later. There were other variants like Lionel Kiddie City in other markets. Lionel also went under in 1990.
