The 2027 Cadillac Lyriq continues on with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

The 2027 Cadillac Lyriq configurator is live. Curiously, the Lyriq retains wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto into another model year. The Lyriq is the only Ultium platform or EV model that still has this feature.

The GMC Hummer EV supported Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from 2022-2025. Offered prior to their decision, but removed afterwards. It is rather interesting that the Lyriq continues to quietly skate around GM's own stance on smartphone connectivity in their EV lineup.

What do you think is the reason Cadillac continues to include it?
