New Skates - HC Evo Pro 110s

Glad to see this great forum back! :)
New Hardcore Evo 110s just arrived, and so far they fit like a glove, though there is some pressure on the right medial malleolus. Hopefully they get a little more comfortable as they break in.
One thing I noticed right away is that both latches feel pretty flimsy compared to the ones on my FR1s. The Evo straps are really skinny, and it feels harder to get a tight fit. The FR1 straps are much chunkier and easy to really crank down if needed.
For anyone who has owned the Evos for a while, how have the latches/straps held up over time, and do they get easier to tighten with use?
I’m also somewhat interested in the Twister XT/90s, mainly because so many people seem to say they’re extremely comfortable right out of the box. Honestly, that sounds almost too good to be true. I’m not a huge fan of the Rollerblade brand, though, so I’m a little skeptical. I realize the two skates are in different categories, but I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has skated both and can compare the fit and overall feel.
