For starters, yes I know the topic of changing your player name in the game has been brought up on this subreddit before, and I'm aware that the SSO devs don't have a plan to make this an option any time soon. But god I wish they did.
This post is kinda just more of a rant than anything, because I hate my current name (Celine Bowwolf). It doesn't make any sense, it isn't catchy, etc... The only reason I selected this name was on a whim because back in 2023 I thought I'd only be interested in SSO for a short time before I bailed (I had never played Starshine Legacy nor was I into any other SSO media + lore before that time), but then I genuinely got hooked and then bought my lifetime Star Rider membership. But regardless I'm still stuck with this stupid nonsensical player name.
I do have an alt account that goes by Cecilia Windfeather (a name I like better), but I don't really do anything with it and it's just not worth going through EVERY quest and recreating my main account just for a different username, yk? And argh I get so damn jealous when I see other players with way cooler names.
From posts I read in this subreddit before I remember hearing that the SSO team isn't currently considering the option of letting players change their names for some technical reasons, but HAVE they ever brought up the idea before? Is there anything supporting the chance that it COULD be an option in the future?

I know the title of this post may be a little weird and confusing so let me explain. I had this idea when I saw Erissa's horse in today's update.
Don't get me wrong, I think almost all the magic horses in this game are beautifully designed. And a lot of them are REALLY ornate and detailed. Well... I was also thinking maybe the game should try making less detailed and realistic magic horses and something a little more simple/silly/cartoony, if you catch my drift. Like Erissa's horse which is literally just a giant doll with button eyes and everything.
Well what if SSO made more magic horses with a similar design like this that we could own? Some of my ideas for magic horses have included one themed to a wooden rocking horse, or a pink horse dotted with sprinkles like those frosted animal crackers.
Thoughts?
As is the case with the rest of this year's Western Festival yesterday's update was lame and boring but did anyone else catch the Shrek reference in the recent quest with the renegades?

Hi, I made a similar topic on r/MyLittlePony, but I didn't quite get the answers I want there. This is more of a technical problem.
So for context, in the early days of the Brony frandom like in 2011-2012, "Adventures in Ponyville" was an old My Little Pony Flash game that used to be on the official Hub website before the Hub shut down. It was a game where you could create your own pony, play minigames with her, and gain points aka "friendship sparkles" to full up six different meters to make her earn a cutie mark.
Once the meters are filled up, the game is SUPPOSED to end with the option to choose a cutie mark, and then a cut scene where your pony gets congratulated by Princess Celestia. But I've tried to play this game on two different Flash emulator websites (linked below), and that end cut scene is ALWAYS missing. Once I finish filling up my meters, the game just cuts to black or grey and stops working, and you never get your reward.
The game is available on Flashpoint and Internet Archive as well, but the descriptions for those say that it's missing the end cut scene, so I didn't bother. 2-4 hours of gameplay progress with no reward or ending, it's actually annoying.

There was literally no warning as to why this suddenly happened... this morning I was just scrolling, liking, and posting on my Tumblr mobile app as normal. Then suddenly the app glitched. I thought that the site was just being buggy. Then to my dismay I logged onto my Tumblr desktop and found THIS.
There was no email or warning or explanation as to why I got terminated. I just did. Eight years of posts, likes, and sideblogs, all completely lost to time.
Of course I immediately contacted support, but I'm scared they're just gonna give me radio silence. I've been dealing with a troll account who's been spreading a lot of hateful misinformation about me on other people's anon asks. I reported the anon multiple times and got radio silence.
Has anybody else dealt with this before? How fast did the Tumblr staff respond to your help tickets, if at all? Were you able to get your account back?
I guess I'll have no choice but to have to make a backup account for now, sigh. And that includes all my damn side blogs.
