Soak City is disgusting
Ugh. We went yesterday and I couldn’t believe how packed the place was in the middle of the week.
Having never been before I was under the impression there would be at least one actual pool like area.
The whole place was packed with people with a huge lack of shaded areas. The benches are actually metal and I don’t know who came up with that idea without shade.
The bathrooms were disgusting and actually the doors didn’t even line up the locks to lock properly in one of the women bathrooms.
I witnessed a toddler squat and defecate in one of the wave pools and they didn’t close the pool area. I even informed the guard of the such and they said they saw it. I expected them to immediately call for closure!
I have now come home from the place itchy as hell. I don’t think we will be back. The Gold Pass didn’t make this worth it at all.
They really need to expand the area, because there is too much walking between areas. There is not enough shade for the stretches between. And they really need some cooling fans on the water slide line.
