I've been experimenting with different bodies and spinners. Here in Canada, there seem to be far fewer resources for lure making. The nickel and brass bodies came from Amazon, and I also made some with sinkers.
On my last lure, I also tried out some frayed paracord on the hook, so I'll see how that goes this week.

I usually fish from the bank. I've mostly had luck with a Panther Martin and bright (mostly chartreuse) curly tailed grubs on a jig head. This weekend, however, I have access to a boat on Ness Lake.

The lake has Kokanee, Rainbow and Brook Trout, with sections about 50' deep. Does anyone have suggestions on what strategies and rigs would work?
