Invisible darn on fancy suit?

My husband just pulled out his wedding suit for the first time in a while and noticed this hole in the sleeve 😭. I feel like I would be able to darn it with a few shades of thin thread to make it much less noticeable, but he wouldn't want to wear it to a fancy event unless it were really invisible. The rest of the suit is in pristine condition and it has so much sentimental value, we'd really love to be able to save it. Do you all think a professional tailor would be able to achieve a truly invisible mend on something like this?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced shipping issues with Shepswool on Etsy recently? I know they are a very popular company, and I've had good experiences in the past. My most recent order was supposed to arrive between April 7-11. During that time I was notified it would actually come between the 23rd-27th. I asked about the delay, and said I would be willing to switch to a similar color if it would arrive sooner. I got a quick response asking if I would be interested in a list of several colors. Then I never heard back from my response to that or multiple attempts to follow up since. Im hoping everything is ok and wondering what my next steps should be. I ordered 2 pounds of wool so not really wanting to eat the loss. Thanks!
