Silicone masking plugs
Hi all, *thanks in advance for any input.
I have been tasked by my employer to find a solution to removing the powder coating from these silicone masking plugs. Ideally of course it should be minimal labor involved.
So far I have tried to tumble them with media in a rock tumbler/vibratory de-burring machine.
I'm kind of thinking now to go the solvent/stripper method.
*If at all possible, I would like it to not be a generator of hazardous waste. Also, it should be something with minimal health risks, so minimal PPE requirements/no strong odors etc.
The idea is to "set it and forget it".
Much thanks!
