This is my almost 8 year old GSP Scout. She was diagnosed with Addison’s about 5 years ago and has been stable. But recently she developed a skin tag/mass that we are going to have removed on the 1st. Really hoping that’s all there is to it, but of course the Big C is in the back of my mind.
So, this is my first cook on my Ranger and of course the weather ended up being an issue and I had to bump it up to 300 to beat some rough weather in NoVa, but still pretty pleased with the results. First pic is after 4 hours, second is after wrapping in butcher paper and sealing it in a Yeti flip top cooler, and then pulled, chopped, and dress alla ENC.
Unfortunately, SeriousLibrarian2046 did not explain from the jump that they carried the weighty title of store manager (still waiting to hear if all or parts of that should be capitalized), or I would never have gotten into an argument with them about the representation of the returned chicken salad sub in JM marketing. That said, for some reason, that sub wouldn’t allow me to post pictures. So I started my own. It’s chicken salad, nerds. They aren’t misrepresenting it as just chunks of chicken. People aren’t surprised when they see mayo.
