Anyone use the new POS system? Its extremely frustrating. Cant clock in or out on it, its difficult to see the entire order, lots of overrides needed for different tasks. If you need to cancel an order an override is needed.

I do see it being beneficial with the ability to choose bread type for inventory and production reports regarding different breads, but overall the interface needs some help.

One of my other gripes is you cant charge for extra meat, gf bread, avo, bacon, pepperoni unless it's attached to a sandwich.

For example after ringing out a customer they asked if we could add extra meat for his dog. In order to do so I would need to refund the order and ring it up again and add extra meat to a sandwich.

Anyone else have any input on the new system?

Have all the coupons just gone away? Haven’t had any pop up in the app in months and have not had a code that actually works in what seems like forever. Have they phased all of these out?

I was just at QDOBA and they said they took away their jalapeños because of the Salmonella outbreak. Did Jersey mikes take theirs away or do they use a different supplier?

We’re literally trained not to ask. Some stores don’t even allow it. Plus you added a bunch of stuff already, im not letting your lettuce and tuna near my grill.”

No but i can charge you a 7 with bacon?

If you open your eyes, tilt your head to and to the left, you will see that we indeed do have the number 8, ham, turkey and cheese.

Not if you want to pay extra for the meat. Inventory isn’t cheap.

No because we’re jersey mikes not jimmy johns.

I can give you a sandwich off our menu and you can tell me the toppings AFTER I PREPARED THE SANDWICH

UPDATE: Omg you guys are soft, I just got a reddit message that somebody on here reported my account for being concerned about my wellbeing... are we okay?? How are you letting a fast food worker upset you that bad?

Any time an employee on this subreddit makes a post venting about their job (rightfully so), it gets flooded with downvotes. EVERYONE in the world has complaints about their job, just because a job is "low skill" such as food and retail, doesn't mean people cannot vent their frustrations. The employees on this subreddit are not serving you at the restaurant therefore they do not have to cater to you customers on here. Also if you seriously spend time weekly on restaurant chain subreddits then I'm afraid you need some better hobbies because who tf does that?

This is my favorite sub because i love getting on here to see everyone discussing one of my favorite restaurants. This sub seems friendlier than other sub-reddits. Seeing peoples amazing creations, the funny employee stories. I'm not sure if there is any sub above this one right here.

Hot or cold

The truth is that Blackstone (as of today) has not touched any of the products of Jersey Mike's. The sizes/weights/ingredients all remain the exactly the same as before the purchase. Every ingredient can also still be found on the website.

If you get a skimp sub, it is because of the kid behind the counter not slicing like they are supposed to.
