shady grove vs reproductive biology associates: a policy difference

for those in atlanta, i am writing about a policy difference between the two clinics. i will write up my results at some point later with procedure and medical differences of why i chose which one.

however, i wanted to let others know that there is a big policy difference between the two clinics:

shady grove does not allow patients to bring children to appointments, as a consideration to others.

RBA does allow children in the waiting rooms.

i know having kids in the waiting room doesn't bother some people. but for those who might be sensitive to it, it is something i had to get used to.

also, shady grove has better waiting rooms: more relaxed, cleaner, overall more comfortable and well maintained.

i have chosen to stay at RBA, and i will share why in a later post. just thought this might help someone who is wanting to make a decision between the two.

rosemary's power

this last episode with rosemary was absolutely delightful. she stole the episode. everyone just listens to her and she gets her way. such power.

telling kenny to stay back, then upsetting her sciatica.

and the family tree reveal, classic. "dead baby, dead baby...lesbian..."

patricia's, "it's the way you say it." that whole scene. the comedy writing is tight.

i could watch that on repeat.

i want dale dickey to have a side hustle where she just reads people's genealogy.

the comedy in this show gets me every time

when patricia opens that second to-go box and it is just a lone sausage. i laughed hard. it was so stark and unfortunate.

but what i love about her is the positivity and kindness that she gives off. that phone call, "i just want them to learn". she wasn't even complaining.

and the whole episode is like that, she has expectations and they are dashed and she keeps going.

the other highlights for me:

  1. when she shocks that mean woman, it is the only time patricia really sticks up for herself.

  2. laying in the road with the emt over her, "give me your keys, i have to run him over", so hilarious.

  3. and of course the shotgun victory scenes all the way to the oven.
