I just want to start off saying y’all I am so happy with my results so far!! I am posting this here as I am more curious than anything. I had a lot of issues healing my left side including an allergic reaction to the sterile strips and I still have a small open part of the incision under my arm. So I worry if the scar will be thicker and disproportional.

have y’all had similar issues healing and did it have a large impact on your scars?

Also this chunk I have circled in my third pic is a bit of swelling that refuses to go down and pops out of my wrap no matter how high I have it sit, will it still go away over time?

I had lipo there and under my arms and my surgeon confirmed the worst of my swelling seemed to be from that.

Anyway I have a bunch of supplies for scar and tissue massage and silicone strips as I want to get my scars to “unwrinkle” in the center where they sit bunched and heal as invisibly as they can for my first year post op before I get my nipple tattoos.

I am a professional over thinker so any input yall have is much appreciated!

Today is the first day I saw my chest with no bandages I got double incision with connecting scars, lipo and no nip grafts (I’m getting medical tattooing). I feel so bloated and weak post op but I have gone to the gym the past 2 years to try and build up my pec muscles, i am so happy my chest is gone I have never felt more myself, but I still have a long recovery in front of me. in my last pic I marked out where I think/hope my swelling is. My doctor said I’m not super swollen except my armpits where I got lipo are super puffy. I hope the unevenness will calm down as the swelling chills out. Ik it’s so early but I hope it settles a bit flatter, I feel a bit alien like rn so any insight into y’all’s experience or opinions are much appreciated!!!! this page has been saving my sanity during my journey
