So I like to cook in the kitchen quite a bit. Both my hubby and I were former short order cooks and since getting diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and POTS in addition to my EDS my hubby has had to take over most of the cooking lately. He is now having to get a job as a trucker due to him losing his job. Since he won't be around as much, I'm needing some sort of aid to be able to sit and cook, otherwise I pass out. Does anybody have any recommendations?

This almost never happens to me, so I figured I would share here since it pertains to my hEDS. My new neurologist I've been seeing for chronic daily migraines actually listened to me when I said I had hEDS that hadn't been officially diagnosed, and she actually recommended to me that I might have POTS. She even recommended that I follow up with my PCP for a tilt table test. I wasn't even seeing her for any POTS related issues, but she immediately recommended I get tested for it. I actually cried after my appointment because I realized there have been very few doctors in my life who simply took me at my word. This is the first time in my life that I actually feel supported by my doctors, and I am so truly grateful. I've worked on advocating for myself better, and I think it's finally working!

What is with the different rosin producers like Gramps Grams and Zenoa making only live rosin pens out of certain strains like Superboof instead of producing more grams of live rosin batter? I get that it might be more cost effective upfront to produce, but those rosin pens are simply not selling at the dispensary that I work at nor any of the other dispensaries in the area due to their higher price points. Meanwhile, we can’t keep their rosin from flying off the shelves. Gramps Grams even won Best In Grass for their Superboof rosin this last year. What gives??? Also, does anyone know where I can get Superboof rosin more consistently? I throughly enjoy the flavor and it helps immensely with my Crohn’s disease due to its gastroprotective properties.
