Okay, so here's the deal: I’m playing an Edgedancer surgeon, and I want to gain immunity or a very high tolerance to an Invested poison from Elantris.

How would you go about it? Do you think it could be achieved, or is it a lost cause?

If it can be done without the Progression Surge, even better.
