Parikrama is one of India's oldest and most influential Rock 'n' Roll bands, formed in 1991 and still going strong over three decades later.

The Hindi word Parikrama denotes the circle of life, a fitting name for a band that has remained true to its journey since day one. As the band approaches its 35th anniversary on June 17, 2026, it continues to do what it always set out to do: play the music it loves, never what the market demands.

With over 3,500 performances worldwide, Parikrama has built a reputation for blending classic rock with Indian musical traditions, incorporating instruments such as the sitar, tabla, Indian bamboo flute, and Hindustani violin into its sound.

In a Bollywood-dominated landscape, Parikrama chose a different path writing and performing English-language rock music without compromise. That commitment has defined the band's identity for 35 years.

Their journey has taken them to prestigious stages around the world, including the Kennedy Center (USA), Download Festival Main Stage (UK), and Brixton Academy (London).

In 2007, members of Iron Maiden watched Parikrama perform live in Bangalore and subsequently invited the band to join them on a 25-day UK tour, supporting multiple shows. Over the years, Parikrama has also shared stages with international legends such as Megadeth, Deep Purple, and Porcupine Tree.
