The Polish girl can make some mean fried chicken, just sayin'.
Also homemade steak fries and a salad with leftover tzatziki as a dressing.

With fried potatos, broccoli, carrots, red bell pepper and red onion, and a chicken stock reduction to make that sauce.
Bell peppers were on sale, so i got some and made a soup! It's hindu style because i used coconut cream instead of heavy cream for it, as well as limes and coreander instead of my usual mediterrean set of spices for it. It ended up really good and i wanna make some Naan bread to dip in it some day, and my sibling had a great idea of serving it over rice and chicken too! But since i was making it after work, toasts it is lol.
I didn't eat any yet, imma cook with them tommorow, so while i am fairly confident in them, and i've got two opinions on them already, if you spot anything poisonous in my mushrooms please warn me, i will throw the suspicious one out.
Essentially a stir fry of quick marinated sesame pork in thin slices with aromatics, onion, carrots, bean sprout and baby cabbage (and a copious amount of soy sauce) over saffron rice.
Made spaghetti with chicken in creamy grilled vegetable sauce and fresh tomatoes!
That's why my diet currently consists mostly of salads and cooled down meats. Anyway, grilled chicken breast with a salad and two slices of bread wirh horseradish and chive cottage cheese.
You know what else is? Pork chops, with a nice lil' pan sauce, 'tatos and stewed saurkraut with tomatoes. Yes i braised them for like 1,5 hour in this heat because i hate myself apparenrtly lol. Tommorow little cooking dinner.
I made a breaded chicken breast spiced with garlic, dried tomatoes and basil, with a buttery potato mash and a salad with carmelised beets.
Made sesame chicken, essentially, roasted those drumsticks in an oven. With potatoes and a salad cause i feel like making them over rice would be a hard sell for my family today.
Hence, i made a... Chinese? Vietnamese? Vaguely asian pork broth soup with meat and shitake mushrooms and vermicelli rice noodles. There's like garlic in it and chilli and ginger and cinnamon and the funny star shaped spice or whatever and honest to god i forgot half the stuff i put in it but it was real good and now i can go wrap myself in a blanket.
Some of you, if you give a shit, may have figured out i am Polish, and live in Poland. Beef here isn't actually a popular meat and is pretty expensive, so rarely do i get beef, and i never made a steak. I elected to sear it on a (grill print) cast iron skillet and then baste it in butter with garlic and herbs. I aimed for medium rare but ended up being more medium, maybe medium well-ish? Anyway, yeah, uh, that's that, with baby potatoes and creamed spinach.
The sun has abandoned us, so in order to feel the warmth once again, i made Chilli con Carne served with rice. It came out real good tbh altough it could've been spicier, i should've added one more chilli or something.
To that end i made green pea cream soup with notes of mint and lemon juice, with a sprinkle of roasted peanuts and a garlic and cheese toast.
By the way i almost forgot to post it because i was hanging out with my girl on discord voice chat and she is very beatiful and lovely <333.
Today to not perish pathetically i have elected to make a gyros chicken and halloumi wraps with fresh veggies, yoghurt and herb sauce, and a little bit of sriracha for a kick of heat i like so much.
I ran out of breadcrumbs for mine so i had to country-bread it but tbh it slaps XD. Country style, or what i would call old polish style, means i marinated it in milk and thinly sliced onion overnight. Served with braised baby cabbage and baked baby potato quarters. Also, chef's privilage! (Stupid little diner style omellete made with leftover egg from breading)
Made paprica crusted chicken nuggies and fries and green beans! And also spilt salt all over the table!
