Hi! I have been doing digital art for about 5-6 month now. And while i have improved greatly, i still have some issues

The above art (pic no. 1) is my latest drawing (pic 2 was reference art. Found on google). I use layers but for some reason the jellyfish seems 'superimposed' on the background (which is supposed to be a sea)

How to fix it/make it better?

App used : IbisPaintX (don't have premium)

Brushes : felt tip pen (soft), dip pen (hard) and airbrush trapezoid (40%)

I finger paint (i.e. dont use a stylus) on my phone

Any and all polite criticism is welcome!!
