Entry: Be Your Own Magical Girl! (+ civilian form)

Magical item: Staff

Consequence: The corrupted staff's toxins slowly poison her body

Magic Class: Starlight/Poison

When not transformed, she has to wear gloves and long sleeves to cover the marks of poison. Although the poison harms her, it also makes her attacks far stronger.

******

I was randomly picking stuff and noticed how cool the combo of these gloves + the staff is, it's like something is corrupting both her and the staff!

Why slap those featureless bloomers under a tutu?

Am I the only one who minds this? Sure, they don't want the classic leotard. But why don't they put ANY effort and just slap a pair of featureless bloomers? It's perfectly fine for longer skirts where you don't see it without angling the camera, but in this case, you see the bloomers even without intending to due to how short the skirt is. So why not make them look intentional?

I am not a designer, but it took me 2 minutes to draw something that at least looks like an attempt to be a part of the outfit. So it shouldn't be hard for them to make something that looks modest but doesn't look like Nikki had an accident and had to wear random panties on top of her costume?

Sorry for the rant, I just feel like it makes the whole outfit look unfinished.

So, how does voting work?

I get that I can't vote, but I am curious how voting works. I submitted just now and discovered that the voting is going on already. Is it bad that I submitted so late?

Is library a good place to ask for book-preserving advice?

I have a couple of older books at home (the oldest is from 1832, iirc). They are not in the best state. Some have completely lost their spines.

I want to preserve them, but I am worried about getting advice from the internet. I would rather pay for a lesson where someone would teach me how to care for them and store them safely. Problem is, no one actually offers lessons like that around here.

So I was wondering if going to the library and asking for help there would be a good idea?

Edit: Thank you so much for the advice, everyone. It was very helpful. I didn't even think about the archives, I'll go there tomorrow and ask.

A build I am working on - a bookworm's nook. I had to remake some areas several times due to bugs, but the fact that I can do this makes me so happy!
