9800X3D died in X870 RS Pro
I have been running the following system for over a year (I built the system in March 2025) without problems, however today it crashed in the middle of using it and I have not been able to recover it.
Ryzen 7 9800X3D
ASRock X870 Pro RS
Kingston Fury Beast DDR5-6000 64GB
Nvidia Geforce 1070
Crucial T700 M.2 SSD 2TB
beQuiet Power Zone 2 1000W
I removed all SATA, M.2 and USB drives, as well as the graphics card. I reset CMOS (by removing and reinserting the CMOS battery). I all but a single RAM stick and tried it in different slots.
Still, only the red and yellow light (CPU and RAM) on the motherboard light up. I also tried to update the BIOS via the Flashback method - no difference.
Any ideas what I can try to do?
I will send this to ASRock and AMD support as well and see what happens.
