Is playing Lux Bot fair?

Lux is my main and I've heard she's better bot lane than mid, but I've also heard people complain how unskilled and/or unfair mages bot are, for example the streamer Humzh.
I would like to play the lady of luminosity as an apc, but I don't want to play unfair.

What are your thoughts on this?

I had a pretty good Nidalee game, 18-3, but the last time I died I had gold for a full Rabadon and Voidstaff, I had been alive for a long time with Luden's and a Shadowflame, but by the time I had my last death and could buy Raba and Void the enemy ended the game. Should I have suicided (in game) or went for riskier plays when I saw that I had a ton of gold? Am I just thinking too much as I was just having fun shooting spears anyway? I guess it just feels bad I couldn't get to use my two massive items lol

I read that they made the characters old and ugly in the part 1 remake, but that might be some people having opinions on how female characters should look in video games which I don't care about.

The argument about the remastered version being the more faithful adaptation on the other hand has some weight for me. As it is only upscaled and has the original artistic vision I guess.

So I would probably prefer the remaster, but kind of paradoxically, that's more expensive as it is only available on PS+ Premium and the remake is on Extra.

I'm not super hyped about realism, it can sometimes even look uncanny to me when it isn't 100% realistic, but like 94% there. I prefer style over realism.

So basically I just think that I'd like to play the Remaster, but the Premium subscription is just above my treshold for a subscription fee. I know I could get the game as a physical copy for like 14€, but I'd rather just play digitally.

What version do you prefer and why?
